Hospital Packets
In an effort to provide new parents and hospitals with the most up to date information on Down syndrome and raise public awareness, GMDSS has created information packets available to all new parents and service providers.
Designed in collaboration with the two local area hospitals the packets include material and resource lists, local service organization contact numbers, developmental and medical literature about Down syndrome, federal tax information, support group contact information, a New Beginnings Bear as well other pertinent materials. The packets are available in both official languages and are provided at no cost to parents.
Library Books & Videos
In the interest of raising community awareness, GMDSS has supplied updated resources, materials, books and video tapes to the Moncton, Dieppe and Riverview libraries. Here is a complete list of these resources.
