Oppor-TUNE-ity Knocks ® 2005

The evening was a huge success with a sell out crowd of over 260 people on May 14th at the Howard Johnson Plaza Hotel. Special thanks to the many corporate sponsors who financially supported this event and all of those who purchased tickets. The Silent Auction was a big hit with many people walking away with some unique items. The winner of the return trip for 2 to Montreal from VIA RAIL valued at $1380.00 was won by Steve Ward of Moncton. The winner of the 50/50 draw was Steve Perry.

Hats off to the dynamic fundraising committee for Oppor-TUNE-ity Knocks ® 2005, you did a great job. To the staff at Howard Johnson Plaza Hotel, thanks for looking after us so professionally throughout the entire day. Special thank you to Northumberland Sound Promotions (Vaughn O'Connor) for his dedication and commitment to the GMDSS for the past 3 years. Dave Gunning and Hot Toddy provided great music throughout the evening. To all the other volunteers who helped out to make this event such a success, we thank you!
